Installing Micro Register™ on Windows Vista®
You will need to turn off the User Account Control (UAC) before installing Micro Register. To do this you must be logged in as an administrator. From your desktop, click the Start icon, Control Panel and select User Accounts.
Click Turn User Account Control on or off and Uncheck Use User Account Control (UAC) to help protect your computer and click OK. On the displayed dialog box click, Restart Now
Install the Micro Register CD-Rom or downloaded file.
To reapply the User Account Control (UAC) then check: Use User Account Control (UAC) to help protect your computer
