Credit Card Processing

When prosessing cards with XCharge the transactions are now Payment Card Industry (PCI) compliant .  Micro Register can now process debit cards with an optional pin pad.  

Customer File

You can “Paste” and “Save & Paste” when adding a new record or viewing a customer from the customer file area of the program.

You can setup a customer with a special tax code by checking the Charge Special Tax Rate option and selecting the tax code you wish to charge. This option overrides the tax codes in the inventory file.

Inventory File

You can “Paste” and “Save & Paste” when adding a new record or viewing an inventory item from the inventory file area of the program.

You can now search for an inventory item by item number or alt item number by selecting Item # or Alt # option located under the item number prompt.

Accounting

A new income report is available which will give income totals by inventory categories.  On the accounting screen, select Print Income by Category and select the category to print or select print all categories.

Point-Of-Sale

A trade in feature is now available when performing a sales transaction. To use this feature, in the company setup under the preference tab, check Allow Trade-In and enter the next item number to auto generate.  In the sales transaction a Trade-In button will be displayed. When clicking on this button you will be prompted to scan or enter a part number.  If the number is in your inventory data base the item description will be displayed and you will be prompted for the trade-in amount.  If the item is not in your inventory file you must enter the description and price and trade-in amount of the item.

Total items sold (total of all quantities sold on each item) are now displayed at the bottom of receipts and invoices.

Invoice History

When converting a price quotation you will have the option of deleting the quote after it is converted to an invoice.

Reports

The customer address mailing labels can now be sorted by zip code or by name.

The vendor list can be sorted by sales totals
